Pet of the Week: Greta

Meet Greta!

This 5-year-old Pit Bull is sure to melt your heart with her adorable eyes and her loving personality! Greta arrived at OC Animal Care as a stray in September of last year, and she was limping pretty heavily on her back-left leg upon arrival. Our Veterinary Staff did a full exam and determined that Greta had an injury to her leg that will probably require some arthritis management for the rest of her life. Once Greta was able to rest up and heal for a bit, our staff began slowly integrating walks into her routine. Greta’s limp stopped, and she is now always asking to go on walks! While we are careful not to push her leg past its limit, this sweet girl loves to be out walking by her human’s side, and is even a frequent attendant on our pack walk events! When Greta isn’t out getting some fresh air, she can be seen curled up comfortably on a pile of blankets, snoozing all day long and enjoying a relaxing afternoon! Greta is one happy girl who is looking for that loving family to give her lots of cuddles and attention!
